Moments by Deja was born from a lifelong passion for capturing life’s most meaningful moments. As a little girl, I was always the one with a camera in my hand, eager to record every family gathering or snap a picture of anything that caught my eye. Looking back now, I realize that my love for photography and videography started long before I even knew it.

In high school, a class project where I created a music video ignited that early spark into a full-blown passion. It was then that I discovered the true joy of storytelling through the lens. This newfound interest led me to Alabama State University, where I majored in a field that allowed me to hone my skills and deepen my understanding of visual storytelling.

Throughout college, I continued to explore this passion, and it wasn’t long before I turned my hobby into a business. After graduating in 2020, I decided to take Moments by Deja to the professional level. My journey took me through valuable experiences in Montgomery, Alabama, where I interned at Alabama News Network and worked at WSFA 12 News. I later expanded my horizons in New Orleans, working at the NBC affiliate for two years before moving to Atlanta to join 11 Alive News.

With years of experience in both photography and videography, Moments by Deja is not just a business—it’s a reflection of my journey, my passion, and my commitment to telling stories that matter. Whether it’s capturing the joy of a wedding day or the excitement of a major event, my mission is to make each moment unforgettable, delivering high-quality content that truly reflects the essence of every occasion.
